Acorn Co-op Support is a small workers co-op, that exists to support co-ops, businesses, community groups and campaigns which encourage co-operative working and practices.
We will work with any group or individual that encourages co-operative working, but we have a specific interest in:
- Supporting, encouraging and participating in co-operative land management.
- Supporting and enabling more sustainable small scale businesses that are working towards the end of our reliance on Fossil Fuels.
- Supporting the growth and development of appropriate renewable technologies, with specific focus on community ownership of those technologies.
We are members of the co-operative consortium Co-op Culture with other very experienced co-op development workers. They have additional specialisms in governance, marketing and social impact measurements. So if there is a service that you need that we can't provide, we will be able to fulfill your needs through our fellow co-operators.
We are Associate Members of the national secondary co-op Radical Routes and are also members of The Coppice Association North West.
